Hypersocial_ ⚡🤝
start here
Hypersocial_ is a space for wondering what it really means to build technology in service of humanity.
Hi friends,
This is a project I’ve been sitting on for a while. Like a while. I first put the branding together in 2024, which as indicated by the new 2026 in the corner of my laptop, was more than a whole entire year ago. Since then, I’ve been reading… reading, a ton. About AI, consciousness, economics, philosophy, parenting, biology… pretty much everything that has captured my attention at this tumultuous point in our collective (and my personal) life. I’ve been making sense of it all in my physical reality (as a parent and an individual person), in my morning pages, in my work on Web3ForGood, but up until this point, I haven’t pressed “Publish” over here. It hasn’t been perfect, I tell myself.
Will it ever be perfect though? If there’s anything I’ve learned in this last year of deep research, it’s that in this wild and crazy age of rapidly accelerating technology, there will always be something new to think about and digest into new meaning. The time to bring others into the conversation was yesterday. So it’s time to bring Hypersocial_ to life, imperfections and all, and let it evolve as it may ✨.
Hypersocial_ is a space for wondering what it really means to build technology in service of humanity.
This is an open frequency for anyone who believes technology should/could make us more alive, not less. This isn’t just another tech feed; it’s a place to metabolize creative destruction and integrate our human story with the stack.

For those of you who don’t know me: Hi, I’m Sam. For more than a decade, I’ve worked at the intersection of emerging technology, storytelling, and social impact. Along the way, I’ve come to realize that technology moves too fast for traditional institutions to steer it alone. Deeper conversations need to be happening where the building is already taking place, with founders, engineers, designers, investors, researchers, creators, and of course, us the human users experiencing the beautiful and poignant reality of what it means to be alive.
I believe technology can be powerfully life-giving when guided by our deeply held, human values. This space is an attempt to weave what makes us human back into the tech stack, guided by those values.
Each publication, expect a combination of:
⚡ Essays & Interviews - Human thinking about values, those that shape who we are and will shape how we build the future. I’ll be talking with builders, educators, writers, healers, parents, visionaries, and more to make sense of how we’re all making sense of the world and sharing my own reflections and ideas along the way.
📡 Hypersocial_ Signals - Curated stories and research worth your attention, spanning tech, culture, policy, philosophy, religion, economics, nature, and more. I’ll be sharing the media that resonates with me, as signals to follow in the noise of what’s emerging and as a guide toward what we should be thinking about together.
🌀 Wondering Together - One big question to sit with to imagine ways forward.
Hypersocial_ is a community experiment in conscious authorship. How can we steer technology so that it supports the evolution and flourishing of humanity, the living systems we depend on, and the overarching universe? This is an exploration of how to live and build in a time when technology touches our work, families, homes, rituals, sense of what it means to be human, everything.
If you’re a builder, dreamer, or thinker who wants to consciously create a future that feels alive and whole… this space for you.
Welcome ✨

What can you expect here, today? As mentioned before, over the last year, I’ve consumed hundreds of pieces of media across a range of subjects that has influenced how I am thinking about what it means/will mean to be human in this new technological era. Today, I’m sharing a curated list of dozens of links that I still can’t stop thinking about, for you to explore.
Consider this first, expansive list of Hypersocial_Signals a taste of what you can expect here. I’m excited to share conversations, ideas, and more as this project ramps up. If any of this resonates with you, please subscribe, share, and let me know what you think.
Onward⚡🤝,
xx Sam

🌀 Wondering Together
One big question to sit with to imagine ways forward.
Do we have an obligation to share unfinished or imperfect thinking and projects in a time of rapid change?
(What does the collective lose from us when we conflate “better” with “perfect”?)
(Could thinking transparently, even imperfectly, be a welcomed signal of authenticity in an age of generated perfection?)
